Well three of them were British writers, but I don't know who Crawford is/was.
Now that those doing this have all commented, the 'missing link' is Olympics men's 100m champions. I had started with that and put one each in the others, Paddock, Bailey, Wells. I had thought about doing an English writers one as well but couln't see a way of making it specific enough.
I had thought that Bolt would stand out without ever thinking of Robert Bolt. I've been experimenting with how to construct them, and I think this would still work if the base starting one - the 100m winners in this case, is by far the most obvious, and attracts the first guesses.
Hence why here, not seeing it makes the others easy, and it by elimination.
