Pity that the first PM since Churchill to serve under two monarchs was also the worst since gawd-knows-when - perhaps ever.
"That bloke over there, out of Ultravox, is really childish."
"Him? Midge Ure?"
"Yes, very."

She's also refusing to rule out another leadership bid when Risky resigns.

It's odd. Generally zealots are consistently zealors even if they are not consistent in what they are zealots about. Truss seems to be a late developing zealots. I'd say Trump was too bit I think he's always been a zealots about Trump and nothing has changed other than where he finds himself.

Truss didn't seem to have that degree of narcissism earlier so this feels strange.

I read the report and my mind flashed to this.

That clip needs playing to all the thick twats calling for us to leave the ECHR.

If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. - God is Love.

Labour MP Sarah Owen is asked if she'll read Liz Truss's new book, she replied:

"I've got plenty of toilet roll, I'm good"

Two pundits discussing this literary marvel this morning said it indicated that she had less self-awareness than a baboon. Listening to part of her interview with Chris Mason, I would say that is a fair assessment.

But a bit unfair to baboons though.

I don't understand why the American Right is embracing her. She's a loser. I didn't think they like losers.

I suppose Tr*mp has managed to spin his loss into a win. So maybe they're just gullible.
