Just received an internet warning that if I receive an email with the title 'Two free tickets for Scotland's next home match' not to open it because it contains 2 free tickets for Scotland's next home match.

Enjoyed that match last night. Referee was appalling. Still, an away win in Spain, and three goals to boost... can't complain.

Pretty good.  The front three were v. good, Kane especially.   I wonder if this is a blip or sets a trend.   Pickford's distribution excellent.

On the BBC "Have Your Say", one poster said that Spain would be happier than England. Huh?

I think there is nothing, no matter how stupid, that you cannot find in internet comments. HYS on the Sports section is even with moderation one of the worst places for this.

Yes, football comments columns are mind-boggling in their stupidity.   I look at some of the Man Utd forums and cringe, well, a lot of them sound very young.

Someone was quoted on the reactions to the match on the BBC report today as saying it was obvious that England were going backwards under Southgate, and it was time he was replaced. I think the desire there is simply to be quoted so you might as well be as contrarian as possible to get noticed. Just as with Piers Morgan on Daniel Craig carrying his, Craig's child in a papoose, and indeed the entirety of Morgan's life. People see the Morgans, Liddles and Hopkins gain in some cases fame and fortune but at the very worst notoriety and think it's a good way to behave.

And then the rest of us point and laugh.

Speaking of Morgan, and not remotely relevant to football. I love Corey Graves and I love this.

Third international break in three months. Bloody joke. No one cares about friendlies or some silly bollocks nations league.

Still, in two weeks time West Ham play Citeh. 2-0 West Ham, dead cert!

This made me giggle, their skill at football is probably better than that of Bercow, he is probably jealous. ;D

Quite excited to watch Scotland in a football World Cup draw, 21 years after the last one.

Man City got beaten. That makes things a little more interesting. We can only hope that Spurs lose too, so Arsenal stay in the top four.

Still lots of work to do. Shouldn't really get too excited yet but definitely signs we're going in the right direction now. After a difficult start the fixture list is kind to us right up to January. The real mark of improvement will be consistency against the teams around us, not the odd win against one of the top teams. Definitely happy though. Anderson is now showing why he's worth 40mil, Snodgrass has turned into a fan favourite and my live for Zabaleta runs deep.

Definitely makes things interesting. Don't worry about Spurs. They always bottle it at some point. ;D

I don't really care. I am off to support the team. Just looking at which group of matches make sense. Nice looks nice, and France then play there. But the Scotland Argentina match is on Paris.

Wow, I didn't think they'd have the bottle.  I guess the carnage at Anfield settled it.  I will miss him in a way, but his negativity was like a black cloud.

I wonder if any transfer discussions were running into problems. Were I to be a player Man Utd were interested in, watching what has gone one with so many players of late, I'd be very wary about going there.
