Delivered today. Beautiful, or what? Bought out of my compensation money for my injuries in my RTA in 2014.

Each to their own. I have a dislike of long case clocks, long story, with which I won't bore you.

That looks and sounds like a lovely thing, Steve - lucky you.

Wonder how many tales it has heard in various living rooms over the last going on for two centuries.

Excellent - good to have a beautiful thing come out of something horrible.

He turns and laughter flickers in his eyes
Intent and direct when he speaks, I watch his lips

A lovely clock. Is it too tall for the shelf?

My parents have a long case clock a bit like that but, if you look closely, it's obvious that it is a cut and shut job being made from the parts of several clocks.

In the past I have suggested that LR only post when she likes things and we'll all just assume she doesn't otherwise.

Who cares what we think.

As long as you like it, that's all that matters.

If we all agree on something, we have to shut down the board, have it  expunged and the bytes used down with digital salt - That's the roolz!!!!

It's gorgeous. Love things with history. Let us know if it strikes 13 and a garden appears.
