The difficulty, I'd've thought, is defining junk food. It's easy with tobacco products - they either are or they aren't - but the dividing line between junk and non-junk food must be hazy.

I think an 80/20 rule works here. Any definition  just has to be good enough and doesn't need to be absolutely logically consistent.

Having just spent a few days away in Bournemouth I have to say the number of times I had to stop myself saying "look at that fat bastard" was incredible. As a nation, we are ridiculously overweight. Any measure that might help address that problem has got to be worth trying.
