So you have a rule where people can be allowed out if on a tag but because someone is too small because she's a 78 year old women for the tag, and is therefore much less likely to be a danger, you send them to jail and waste money. Idi-fecking-otic

Seems to me that to return her to prison simply because she is too frail/thin to be fitted with a tag, and given her age and that she has been at home without incident, is both disproportionate and costly (and maybe a wee bit cruel given the specific circumstances).

Hard to see how society benefits by her return to prison simply because there is no suitable 'kit' for her.
