Could be. I'm not very hopeful for this season. The writing has been on the wall for a while.

I have a soft spot for West Ham for a number of reasons. Much prefer their old ground though

Even with some truly dreadful results in Europe for Scottish teams this week, Man Utd may have managed the worst result.

For various reasons, we have a soft spot for Grimsby and found the result most gratifying. That it was Man Utd they beat made it even more pleasurable.

I see Celtic have drawn Roma and Bologna on the Europa League which means that they will play two Italian teams with players with the old Italian surname Ferguson

The win against Forest has given me some hope, that we're not completely doomed.

Mourinho having been sacked after a defeat by Benfica becomes their new manager. Funny old game.

"What does xG tell us about how Premier League teams have started the season?" What we really need is some method of working out a league.

Postecoglou gone

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/clyqvv94p0go

Yes. My ex-work colleague, a fanatical Forest supporter, texted me a couple of days ago and said this would happen. The owner was a fool for getting rid of Nuno. There was so much goodwill for him from both the players and the supporters. Rumours are, we get Sean Dyche next.

Presumably Postecoglou will get a large pay out for his 39 days
