I haven't a clue what you are talking about, never mind, no doubt everything will be sorted out in the New Year.
If you have a H D M I socket on your T V you can plug in an Amazon Firestick which will then operate on your spoken requests to it for any of the catch ups on offer including the iPlayer.
Oh yes You'll need a power source for the Firestick; some T Vs have a U S B connection as well as a H D M I socket if your T V has one it could be used as the power supply for the Firestick if no U S B socket you can otherwise just plug it in to a convenient electrical socket for its power supply.
I think the Firesticks are about £60 a piece or thereabouts, I have one and it's quite simple to use and the £60 is a lot cheaper than a new T V.
My own T V isn't a smart T V but it is the same as a smart T V when you add a Firestick, there are similar products on the market with different product names so I've only mentioned the product I've experience of.
